How to plan a route

There are two entry points to plan a route:

1. Adding waypoints directly on the map by long-pressing.

   This is a good option if you want to plan visually on a map and when you don’t have a specific destination in mind.

2. Search for specific places or addresses.

   This is the fastest option to generate a route if you have a specific place in mind.

Create a route on the map

1. In the Start Screen, long-press directly on the map at your desired location.

1. This will bring up a menu with the following choices:
   • Set as destination
   • Set as via
   • Set as start
2. By choosing Set as destination, a route will be generated from your current position to your chosen location.

Create a route by searching for a location

1. In the Start Screen, tap “Where do you want to go?”.

   

2. Tap the “Choose the final destination” field.

   

3. Search the location or address to the place you want to navigate to.

4. Once a destination has been chosen, tap Preview on map.

How to change road type

Once a route has been generated you will have the option to change between 3 road types:

• Fast - This option aims to guide you to your destination the fastest way possible, which will mostly include highways.
